All swim lessons are taught by certified, experienced staff members. Classes follow the Red Cross Swimming & Water Safety Program’s six graduated levels of swim instruction. The program is designed to combine the best in swim instruction with a strong emphasis on drowning prevention and water safety.

Penguin Development is for swimmers ages 7 and up that that have mastered Level 3 skills per the below lessons and are interested in preparing for competitive swimming.

The butterfly stroke is introduced with extensive practice, along with a focus on fine-tuning and building endurance with freestyle, backstroke, breaststroke, turns, and starts.

We’re currently investigating opportunities to offer Penguin Development this season and hope to have more information soon.

If you’re interested in having your child participate in Penguin Development, please complete our aquatics signup form. We’re using this information to gauge program interest and aid in team planning. If we can launch Penguin Development, this signup will function as a waitlist.
