Programming provided by Blue Sky Tennis

Classes are open to both Georgetown members and non-members. Loaner racquets are provided.

Georgetown Country Club is home to four regulation tennis courts with a growing tennis program along with several pickleball courts. The courts are available for member play when lessons are not in session. Members do not pay court fees.

The two front tennis courts (located near Pro Shop on King George Blvd.) were resurfaced in 2021.

Pickle ball drop in play is no cost and will be held on Sunday 3pm, Monday 7.30pm and Wed 7.30pm. This will start _____ and run through the season. Times may change in August once the tennis lessons finish. Equipment provided.

  • When: Every Monday and Wednesday at 7:30 pm
  • Where: Tennis courts next to the Pro Shop
  • What you need: Pickleball rackets and balls are provided. You may want to bring water to stay hydrated.
  • Free for members,  $10.00 for non-members (pay in the pro shop before play)

Fall GTCC Pickleball League: Sundays @3pm

  • When: Sundays @ 3pm for 6-weeks
    • August 27th – October 8th (No league play on Sept. 3rd)
  • Where do I go?: The league will take place on the tennis courts, next to the Pro Shop, at Georgetown Country Club (1365 King George Blvd. Ann Arbor, MI 48108)
  • What do I need?: Pickleball rackets and balls are provided. You may want to bring water to stay hydrated.
  • Who can join the league?: Members and Non-members welcome ages 14+!
  • $35 for the 6-week league for members
  • $50 for the 6-week league for non-members

Head Tennis Pro

Tennis Rules  

    • Members and guests must check-in at the Pro Shop prior to play.
    • Proper tennis shoes and attire must be worn at all times on the court.
    • Members may bring guests to play tennis. Guest fees are paid in the Pro Shop during check-in. Violators will be required to leave.
    • Authorized tennis pros are the only persons permitted to give tennis instruction for a fee.
    • Court reservations are made through the online system or Pro Shop.
    • Courts become available if unclaimed within fifteen minutes of reserved court time. If a reservation cannot be kept, please cancel through the online system or contact the Pro Shop.
    • Singles and doubles play is limited to 1.5 hours.
    • Bicycles, roller skates, golf shoes, skateboards, etc. are not permitted on tennis courts. 
    • Glass containers are not permitted on the courts. 
    • All club equipment (practice balls, racquets, squeegees, brooms) is to be returned to the Pro Shop.
